Introductions

Hello, my friends. Most of you are probably here due to a link I provided you; if not, you either received it from someone else or have an incredible knack for Google searching, heh heh.

The purpose of this blog is simply to serve as an editorial site of sorts; a place where I write about issues and events that strike me as worth writing about, for one reason or another. Very rarely will I be trying to actually persuade any of you of anything; this is a place for me to vent my opinions, mostly, not to rally a bunch of people to a cause (though I won't deny, I will always hope that my words have reached you in such a way that, if you disagreed with me before, you agree with me now). At some points, I will probably drop this attempt at professionalism you see right now and slip back into a more "regular" speech pattern- and this will generally happen when I'm incredibly frustrated or angry about the topic at hand.
